E-MACHINES
E-MACHINES
Halfway between a conventional machine tool and a numerically-controlled machine tool, electronic machines or E-Machines offer an excellent compromise for operators who need to machine single parts and prototypes, as well as sporadic production runs.
The ability to switch from traditional to CNC machines at the touch of a button is also particularly useful when machining complex parts requiring radius angles, engraving, chamfering, emptying 2D pockets, etc.
When the machine is in conventional mode, the screen resembles a digital display of axis position. The fact that the machine is equipped with ballscrews is a real advantage in terms of ease of use (no need to take up play when reversing) and machining precision.
In CNC mode, the machine works automatically, executing 2D or 3D cycles. Machine code loading is via a USB port on the front of the control panel.
